good point...I'll check that next time we're both online. If that's the case, it's still a bug because it should block the guest player from doing anything. You're theory sounds like its part of the problem, except one of the worlds we tested with was an existing world where we both had build permissions. It's almost like the client thinks it has permissions for building/etc but the host says it doesn't.
Same. My friend and I have a realm we've been playing on for about a month and a half (from both Xbox and Windows 10) with no problems. When phase 2 of the aquatic update came out, we were excited to see Realms support on the Switch, so we tried it out, and it worked fine. Then we switched back to Xbox and we both had our player data reset: returned to spawn, inventory gone, XP erased, etc. No one else on the realm has had this issue, just the two of us who logged in from Switch, then returned to Xbox. I have since gone back and forth between the two consoles a couple times with no issues, but am still worried it may happen again.
