This is happening to me and i have do DELETE and REDOWNLOAD the ENTIRE game to play for a day or two
This bug has been affecting players for MONTHS and it has yet to be fixed. This is outrageous and the possibility of getting the caves and cliffs update before this game-breaking bug gets addressed again by mojang is seeming more likely by the day .
Even if the bug will not get fixed for a while to come it would be appreciated by everyone for some more info about how long it will take for it to get fixed as i can only imagine bugs like these are at the highest priority for mojang staff
