I can confirm this. Tried to backspace and was denied for a moment.
Tried 3 more test.
Test 1. backspace would not work
Test 2. after 6 seconds it began to work.
Test 3. backspace was fine again.
This is the best info I may offer.
Can confirm xbox one cannot enter realm after update. this is by me and my members of 7 xbox accounts, My windows 10 and pe players are not affected by this and can still enter.
I think my case of disappearing hud might be related to a controller handling bug, as I noticed the hud disappear even when I crouch (default B button), which usually I don't need to do if not for walking on edges so I never noticed it. I'll open a new task for this.
No, I can confirm the bug happens with the setting in OFF state.
Just pressing B to exit from the inventory hides the hud. No matter if you switch the setting ON and OFF, the hud won't come back and you are forced to restart the game.
Confirmed on Lumia 950XL, playing with XBox One S wireless controller, every time I open the inventory and close it (B button) the entire interface disappear and the only thing I can see is the pause menu, not even the main menu, so I'm forced to reboot the game because when I press B again it's stuck at the rotating title screen with no UI at all.
The setting to hide the UI is in off state (the game shows the UI until I exit from the inventory).
