to clarify: the pointer does move with the controller but outside certain areas it becomes invisible. like it is turned off.
when i found the active area (crafting table window for example) and move the pointer in that one i see something. but when i move from the craftable items to the ingredients, moving in between the pointer does not show.
to make this report (and some other) i saved my minecraft game. after finishing making the report i went back and loaded the game and went to the sheep. now the sheep look properly sheared.
now i shear again and the issue repeats again. i shear the sheap, a little white block jumps up and i pick it up, the sheep stays fully white (looking not sheared). however i can not shear it again.
(i have a little pit with 5+ sheep)
i had a similar issue. i was killing many villagers. from what i read from minecraft 101 or minecraft pedia, you get a very negative score. if the reputation with the villagers become very bad, maybe new iron golems will attack you on sight anyway. even after you died. when i killed a lot of villagers and golems, i was killed 2 times in a row by a golem and after the second dead it no longer wanted to kill me.
maybe your reputation becomes so bad it requires multiple deaths ? normally when i just touch a villager (by hitting it) and the golem dies, new golems will not attack me (i let lava kill the golems that want to attack me, so maybe i do not get very negative reputation for killing golems).
what i mean is, perhaps you are not experiencing a bug but it is working as intended.
