To reproduce it's easier using a minecart because of the smaller hitbox. Just make a similar setup to ilmango's shulker farm (you don't need all the portals but you do need the glass to give them valid tp locations) but have the shulker in a minecart. It'll shoot backwards, and when it gets hit they will both tp away.
