I will not. It's self explanatory. I'm not going go through the process of downloading a video capture app, learning how to use it, capturing the video and uploading.

Is anyone at mojang monitoring this issue anymore? It's still set at unresolved.

It is EXTREMELY frustrating to use 3 fingers on a touch device to swim with any efficiency.

If this issue is not going to be monitored or addressed, at least do us the courtesy of setting this to resolved with "works as expected" as the solution.

Apologies. Entities drop loot was off.

I always have it set on.

Every time I open my inventory. I've timed the lag. It can be up to 5 seconds.

With every passing update that this doesn't get fixed, won't it be harder to isolate and fix?

My daughter plays in our server with me. Sits right next to me and she never lags.

But, I keep playing. And that's the rub. If we keep playing, Mojang really has no incentive to make this a priority. I pay for my account, my daughter's account, and a 10 player server.

The studder is omnipresent. Every action, container, oven, etc. When in my inventory, while switching an item into one of my active slots, the item, let's say my shield will freeze in time halfway in between the inventory slot and my shield slot.

This is really getting ridiculous at this point. How about Mojang just acknowledging the issue and say they are working on it?

We keep playing despite the erosion of the gameplay experience.

Interesting. I also notice it when turning or looking around. I thought maybe it was just my imagination.

Good to meet a fellow daddy/child team. 🤘

Still lagging just as often for me. Its much more obvious when I'm at my home base built within a thriving village with numerous villagers, three pens full of livestock, bee hives, frogs. The more mobs around me, the worse it is. When I'm just passing through a biome with scant mobs around I hardly notice it.

Oh, the worse lag I feel is opening my inventory. I f I do so while around aggressive mobs, I will get hit several times waiting for it to open.

A lag hit me right as I was entering a nether portal from the nether. The cut scene started and froze right away. I waited for a minute then restarted. I appeared in the middle of the ocean. About halfway back towards the overworld portal I had entered previously.

I cannot discern a pattern. Its everything from interacting with containers, opening my personal inventory, and just running around. Maneuvering in dangerous areas like the nether or deep caves invariably will result in falling in lava or over a cliff during a lag. Fighting mobs during a lag will get you killed.

Additional info, I'm playing on a 10 person Realms server

I'm using an s22. The game momentarily freezes every 5 seconds or so at regular intervals. Like a record skipping. Like a hiccup. This makes the game virtually impossible to play when exploring or fighting. And the nether? Forget about it. It is NOT JUST opening containers.

This happened immediately after the latest update. It's not a device performance issue. I've tried different wifi hot spots and my mobile data. None of my other devices are performing poorly over my wifi.

I can't play until this is fixed.

My sister also stopped playing. Underwater exploration was her favorite and when this happened, she quit playing.

I bought a 10 person server so that we could play as a family.

Nefaeria and I have very clearly explained this issue. Nefaeria makes a good point that whatever changes were made in that update might work great for all other platforms but really jacked up how mobile users swimm.

Will someone at Mojang please try to swim using a mobile device, such as my Samsung s22 to see what we mean?

I think this is a good example of how, I believe, mobile device users are at the bottom rung of the ladder of importance.

This issue is definitely related to MCPE-170087

Swimming mechanics on mobile platforms are jacked and have been since an update months ago.

Please go to that issue to see my very detailed description.

I'm at a loss as to way Mojang doesn't seem to understand our issue.

Thank you for following up. This issue was sulked with a subsequent update.

From whom are you awaiting a response?

I've very carefully detailed the issue already.

I believe that these are likely the same issue but please tell me how I could be clearer in my description below.

Drowning while swimming in the surface is the same issue. I described this earlier. You have to look straight up to swim at surface. Same issue. You can't swim with your head above water without keeping your right thumb on the 'up' button. And that means you can't steer yourself. Looking straight up alleviates this somewhat but you still slowly sink. That's when you start losing air bubbles. To swim at the surface and steer you have to constantly take your right thumb off the 'up' button to change direction. Once you do that, you immediately start to sink.

Another thing that happened at the same time this swimming problem started: I found that in water only 1 block deep, I could walk and run unencumbered. This was not the case previously.

Now, maybe that was a change that developers conciously made, which I actually think is a good idea. But in the execution, they inadvertently made swimming at the surface much harder.

It's really quite simple. On touch devices, we could swim on the surface without sinking and steer with our right thumbs. Now, to avoid sinking at the surface, I must hold the "up" button on the right side of the display with my right thumb. The result is that to change direction AT THE SURFACE you must take your thumb off the "up" swim button on the right to change direction and then you begin to sink. It's quite impossible to swim at the surface while steering. You literally must use 3 fingers: L thumb to swim forward, R thumb to press "up" and whatever 3rd finger you are dextrous enough to use to steer.

Also to be sure, when swimming underwater the rate of sink seems much greater than before the last update.

I'm using Samsung S22, with latest updates of Droid OS and Minecraft.

Also, when in lava in the Nether there is no "up" or "down" controls on the right side anymore. Hence if I fall in lava, I'm dead.
