Having this issue on PC as well. Bedrock. I saw a creeper, a skeleton, and glow squid. I only noticed it after 1.21.21 and it’s the same trial chamber I’ve used since 1.20 first dropped. Closest to my home base, I use it to farm keys. 

This was an issue for me, during the 1.19.6x updates, that got fixed with the 1.19.70 update (notes under my name on MC 115808 with 2 separate comments as this issue had not yet been accepted as switch specific issue and was a duplicate of general achievement problems at the time.) I had tested different worlds, different tasks, and on PC, it was a Switch exclusive issue. It is now not working again with the 1.19.x updates (1.19.83 specifically). Tested with the conduit and spend a day underwater. Could get cheats before this update but unsure under what version it was (5 May 2023, automatic updates on). No cheats enabled, etc. World says it still allows achievements to be unlocked but they are not unlocking. Also waited more than 72 hours (in case of lag) and tried to repeat the conduit and spend a day underwater and still didn’t unlock. Also tried to gain progress on befriend a cat and gained none. Just not registering. 

1.20.0 release date edit: retested conduit and spend a day underwater in old world and did not unlock. Tried to delete and redownload Minecraft and make a copy of old world and did not unlock. Also made a new world and tested plethora of cats - did not gain any new progress so as of 7 June 2023 1.20.0 it still seems to be an issue that the game doesn’t register unlocking of all achievements on Switch Console.

with the release of 1.19.70 today, for me at least, the issue with achievements not unlocking on Switch for the 1.19.6x updates appears to be resolved. Thank you.

I tried the recommendation with the dns on switch and no change. With any achievements. I should easily be able to get four and make progress on two more and none showed progress or popped. May be just a switch issue or some communication error between switch console and Microsoft achievements? 

I’m having this same issue in 1.19.63. Unsure what caused it or if started in 1.19.62 (my last achievement was obtained on 22Feb23) but I know I should’ve gotten at least four and didn’t. I don’t know how to recreate the bug bc I don’t know what caused it. The world was never opened in creative, no betas, behavior packs, etc. I play alone and my settings screen doesn’t have any notification saying I can’t get them on that world. I made a copy of my world and tired for the slime achievement and it didn’t work (it should’ve). I deleted the game and reinstalled it. Didn’t work. I created a new world and befriended a cat. It didn’t update my progress. So it’s not my worlds. It’s my game. I’m unsure of how to fix this. There have been so so so many issues with the 1.19.6x updates, I’m wondering if this is one too. Please heeeeelllp. It’s disheartening. 

Edit: I wanted to add, I play on the Switch and it seems a lot of other switch players are having the same issue, according to the Reddit. So it seems that the issue may be related to this update on the switch. I don’t have Minecraft on other platforms to test this, sadly.
