I've tried editing the manifest.json file of the addon, but that doesn't seem to fix it. There are only so many addons for 1.20.80 available, and I hope they fix this. One thing they could do is remove the missing texture square and change it to one of those resource/behavior pack error messages on the top of the screen upon joining. Some packs work perfectly, but have the square on the screen.
