It's been 24 hrs with no fix... 

I'm unable to play multiplayer at all using cellular data after the 1.16.100 update. No realms no servers no nothing. This is so critical and need fixing... 

Can confirm... Won't let me play using cellular data. This is a critical bug and should be fixed soon

Found a permanent fix for MIUI. Settings -> Display -> Notch And Status Bar -> Notch In Individual Apps -> Minecraft > Always Show Notch. If overlapping occurs, change screen safe area from Minecraft> settings -> video -> change screen safe area -> adjust the bar to fit your need

Issue exist for Xiaomi k30 android
