When a Husk makes noise, it plays its own sound event as well as the normal Zombie sound events. This creates a weird double effect. Also, when a Stray makes noise, it plays it's own sound event as well as the normal Skeleton sound events.

Judging by the subtitles and the sounds the mobs make vs. /playsound in 16w33a, I say that most stray and husk sounds are a combination of skeleton and zombie sounds, respectively, and their own special sound effects. However, strays and husks do not produce the actual skeleton and zombie sounds.
If this report is based on the first sentence of my comment (which I believe is what [helper] Neko (the Japanese cat/programming language/why I am searching up the word Neko) is referring to), I don't see how this is not intended, seeing as how husks are related to zombies and strays are related to skeletons.
If this report is based on the second sentence of my comment (which I am most likely to assume), please explain when this occurs, or where in the code/game files this occurs.
If this report is based on anything else, please clarify what the issue is (It'd also be good to clarify the issue regardless).

But you're right; it'd help if I doubly proof-read my comments.
Unable to confirm in 1.12; only the husk/stray sounds are playing. The sound files themselves sound like dubbed-over zombie/skeleton sounds and could perhaps be changed to avoid confusion, but the events are playing correctly.
May be intended but can confirm. Also happens with Strays.
