Original description
When you adjust the volume (voice/speech) to 0% after a command such as/playsound minecraft:record.11 voice @a
has been executed, the song (here minecraft:record.11) stops, but it immediately plays the song again (from the beginning). Also when you adjust the volume (voice/speech) again (volume>0%), the song starts playing again (from the beginning).

An updated command is
/playsound minecraft:music_disc.11 voice @aIn 20w08a, the sound does not immediately play again from the beginning. The sound stops and never resumes. This affects natural sounds too, not just the playsound command, as seen in MC-147434 and MC-159316, which are duplicates of this report.
Is this still an issue in the latest snapshot 16w44a? If so please update the affected versions.
