When destroying one block of tall seagrass, the other block becomes air when destroyed, rather than water

This video does not show the extent of the problem. In the video, the air block almost instantly becomes a water source because it is surrounded by other water sources.

In 2 deep water, like you often find in swamps, if you break the bottom block of tall seagrass, the top block becomes air and does NOT always turn to a water source even though it is surrounded on all but the top by other water sources.

This leaves pits in the water surface that may not be visible from say a boat. The water on the sides does not flow either.

Another way to demonstrate this is to have a small dripleaf where only the bottom half is in water (and not surrounded by water source blocks), and break the upper half. This clearly demonstrates the water being deleted, as there's no new source being formed.
