I can confirm this. Please tweak title to "Cleric villager's collar texture z-fighting", as I was not able to find this.

This issue has nothing to do with JAPPA.

This ticket has been resolved as "Won't Fix", there's no need to keep the affected versions list updated.

This bug doesn't work with Zombie Villagers

MC-166686 which is a very similar issue, was triaged on the 29th of November 2019, and this ticket (MC-141064) was triaged on the 19th of March 2019, leading me to believe that the team's opinions changed regarding this core issue over some time. If MC-166686 is considered a valid bug judging by its assigned "Mojang Priority", it seems rather strange that this ticket (MC-141064), which is essentially the same core problem, is a "Won't Fix".

Better yet, it's the exact same issue with the exact same fix, same model elements that z-fights; just profesion texture vs type texture.
So in reality, it's a duplicate of this.
