... I thought this was intended behavior? Mobs will not aggro on a player in creative mode, even if you poke them. Personally, I like it this way.
All mobs should ignore the player in Creative mode, though the changes we've made might only apply to New AI mobs.
EvilSeph: Can confirm that the changes only apply to new AI mobs. Spiders, zombie pigmen, and Endermen still aggro when attacked in creative.
This is crap...how can you test traps etc. It needs to be able to be toggled between passive and normal (or just on or off with normal mobs). There is too much bad info on you tube and forums. Spend hours building a trap, it doesn't work as described, but I can't tell if it's because they were doing something different, or because I did something wrong or because of an environmental related thing. So I built it quick in creative mode to get a 'control' to test, but the mobs don't react to me and it the same. So it's something potentially useful, but not being utilized. Why have them at all in creative; they just get in your way? Just have it so you can toggle normal mobs (but still without damage to the player(s)) and no mobs.
Confirmed with all new AI hostile mobs.
