The Bug
If you toggle sneak (rather than holding) it allows you to sneak while you're in a GUI. Something that was previously impossible in past versions. (I don't know if this is a bug or intended though.)

Sneaking is a toggle with controllers and touch controls in Bedrock and you keep sneaking when you open an inventory.
On bedrock it once did you make you stop sneaking when playing with a controller and opening a ui. This was considered a bug MCPE-33209 and got fixed. If it would be like this on java, it can be annoying when using the toggle sneak feature.
Per MCPE-33209 I think this is an appropiate feature for parity. This allows you to not fall from cliffs when you are doing risky things while using GUIs, and would be similar to Bedrock, where they do have this as a feature for touch and controller options. Since this is not the default option but an optional feature, it should remain.
Please say this works as intended
