The teleportation sound plays when endermen and shulkers teleport, as well as when players/foxes eat chorus fruit. However, it is missing from the following events:
Teleportation from throwing an ender pearl
Teleporting dragon eggs
Teleportation of tamed wolves, cats and parrots to the player
The /tp command
I haven't tested end gateways yet.

I swear that these used to have sound. I don’t think this is a feature request. I think it is in fact a bug. I don’t think the tp command used or should use it, but these others should. If removing these sounds was intentional, it was a poor decision. A game like this needs sounds. The removal of these makes these things seem... empty? That’s how I’d describe it at least. I know the pearl used to have sound and now it only does the throw one. It feels dull now. I’d reopen this report. It’s still here in 1.16 pre release 5.
Some of these never had a sound and probably shouldn’t, but pearls should not be intentional. They used to have a teleport sound and I’m almost certain Bedrock still has a teleport sound for pearls, not just damage. It seems odd to intentionally remove a sound that made the ender pearls feel more, well, cool? Without a teleport sound and just a damage sound, they don’t sound as good and Minecraft has pretty good sound design elsewhere. This just seems like a really easy fix and I cannot see it as being intended (again, for pearls specifically).
I can confirm this in Minecraft 1.15 pre-releae 1 but I think the /tp command is intentional.
