Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Place fire somewhere with flint & steel;

  2. Drop an item at it;

  3. Remove the fire.

Observed Results:
The item is still there.

Expected Results:
The item burns and disappears.

Notes: Might have something to do with Netherite mechanics.

I think this bug was added due to the feature of netherite items not burning.

can confirm that this is still happening, I tried to burn some leather and iron and it was still there.. I even left it for a bit to make sure my game wasnt just being slow
