Twisting and weeping vines always have an age of 0 when placed by a player

When placing a twisting vine on any block the age of the twisting vine is 0, meaning that it will grow to the full 25 block height.

That is the case for weeping vines as well as kelp. It is intended.

Kelp placed by a player gets a random age, as does bamboo. If weeping vines also gets a 0 age when placed by a player it should also be fixed.

In my own survival world, when I place a twisting or weeping vine it has a random age, however on a server I play on it always gets age 0, friends have tried and they get 0 as well on other worlds. Both worlds have a random tick speed of 1, the only difference is that I created my single player survival world post 1.16 update, while the server updated the nether chunks that had been explored or something.

Just tested this in a new 1.16.2 single player world - and all three have a non-zero age when placed by player. So I'm assuming this is now fixed?

Hello! I cannot reproduce this in 1.16.3; looks to be fixed.

After some testing, I can tell that this was already fixed with 20w27a.

Can't reproduce in the current version either.

The fix should be reverted as MC-214232 has an Assignee and Priority.
