Certain faces of blocks are transparent, causing player to see through the world (AMD CPU with Nvidia GPU)

After playing for a few minutes I get this visual glitch that causes certain faces of blocks to be transparent past a certain radius. Happens on both multiplayer and single player. I tested with 20w21a just to make sure that it wasn't something wrong with my PC and had no issues.

Please check if this occurs with a lower render distance for you.

I stopped playing and played some CS:GO for an hour or two, and when I went back to Minecraft, I played for about 4 hours and didn't get the glitch again. Very strange. When I was experiencing the glitch I closed out of Minecraft and relaunched it at least 5 times and each time it did the glitch, now it won't do it at all. Hopefully it never happens to anyone ever again!

Could you tell us the seed of the world you took the screenshot in?

The seed is -2768391765629260574

Please check if this is still an issue in 1.16 Pre-release 2 or higher.

Maybe it was just a rendering error, it mainly happens when you open minecraft for the first time after o restarted or turned on your pc, it is very common.

so how do you fix it

I've just had this start happening again on my PC with 1.16.1. One thing I've noticed is that Minecraft will freeze for a fraction of a second before the visual glitch starts. Would a memory dump be helpful at all?

Can this still be reproduced in the latest 1.17 development snapshot?

There have been no comments here and no new bug reports about this issue, so I'm closing this as Awaiting Response.

If you're still experiencing this (and you have AMD CPU / Nvidia GPU), please leave a comment or create a new bug report.
