options_background.png is incorrectly displayed upside down in the credits after beating the dragon

doctor who resource pack (its a tardis with D W next to it , except here its upside down)

would be real nice to have this confirmed as i only have a few things left to add to the resource pack

Confirmed.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.

The bug

In the credits and in the story shown after defeating the ender dragon for the first time, the options_background.png image is displayed upside down. In other places where this image is used, the image is shown in the correct direction.

How to reproduce

1. Load the

1. resource pack for 1.16, or the 

1. resource pack if using 1.17+

2. Select "Copyright Mojang AB. Do not distribute!" on the main menu
   ❌ The arrows in the background are displayed pointing down

Affects 21w08b as well.

Confirmed for 1.20.2; requesting ownership due to reporter inactivity.

From what I can see, 24w09a fixes this issue, including in Programmer Art. As the resource pack format has changed, I've included an updated demo pack.
