Infested blocks take twice as long instead of half the time

Changelog said:

Infested Blocks are no longer instantly destroyed, and instead have half the destroy time of their non-infested counterpart.

But instead when testing this, it seems like it takes twice as long on infested blocks instead.

It looks like a mathematical mistake where the equation is

<base block hardness> {color:#de350b}*{color} 2

instead of

<base block hardness> {color:#de350b}*/*{color} 2.

it seems the mining is always the same speed no matter what tool you mine it with(its using half the speed of a hand)

Invalid. The infested blocks did not become "rocks", they take half the time to mine than it would if you mined regular blocks with your fist.

I can confirm as well, and this is contrary to what the patch notes said and is therefore a valid bug.

@unknown, now I get what you're saying. You're right, that's how it works on Bedrock Edition. Infested blocks on Bedrock Edition take the same time to break with any tool or with your fist, since they're not really stone anymore, but rather disguised "monster eggs". So if you mine an infested block with your fist, it takes as much time to break as with a pickaxe, and it takes half the time you need to break a stone block with your fist. So if you're using a pickaxe, it will take relatively longer to break, but if you're using your fist or any other tool, you will break it faster than regular stone.

Given that's how it works on Bedrock, this should be marked as WAI.

Just to clarify, this was not an issue in 1.16.5.

@unknown Because infested blocks used to be instantly mined in 1.16.5

@Kai Maldonado they don't take twice the time in java either.
