Can confirm.

Can also confirm in 1.17.1 Pre-release 2. I thought this was a fix to MC-87935.

Can confirm in 1.17.1.

The item also remains when you switch to survival, but turns into a ghost item.

As per MC-231366, this bug also affects the survival mode inventory.

When you are in inventory and are holding one or more items with the pointer/cursor, it used to be that if you exited the inventory by pressing "e" or "Esc", the item would drop. This is no longer the case - the item returns to the inventory.

Per MC-248901, if doing this, and switching to survival/adventure will cause a ghost item (server correctly says no item exists), so this is fully client caused (client controls creative menu, not server).

Can confirm for 1.19 Release Candidate 2.

Can confirm in 1.19.

Can confirm in 1.19.1.
