The preset for Floating Islands worlds appears to be broken, spawning the player above void, and with terrain features like grass missing. Structures such as villages and pillager outposts spawn at y = -63, and mineshafts only generate below the broken remains of islands.

@Vladimir the Minecraft Warrior that's because diamond ore generates up to 96 blocks "above bottom" which means that in a normal world it generates from y=-64 to y=16. In a floating islands world, where the noise bottom (not the real bottom at y=-64) is at y=0, diamond ore generates up to y=96. It's a different issue. Maybe I need to report it.
@ManosSef That's probably why Floating Islands don't generate properly. The generation noise is misaligned, so when it goes to generate land it generates outside of valid y values.
