[MC-246988] Camera moves in the direction of the cursor when closing UIs on macOS

Whenever I close my inventory, chest, crafting, or menu, while moving my cursor, the camera would jump to the direction of the cursor.

To reproduce, open your inventory and close it while moving your cursor.

Edit: I've only seen this issue on Macs.

I have been getting this bug since 1.18.2 using Big Sur. I am now currently on macOS Monterey 12.5, Minecraft Version 1.19 and this is still occurring. Happens every time I close a Chest or my inventory whilst moving the mouse. I am not sure if this is due to raw mouse input or not although I am unable to verify as there is no option in the settings that allows me to toggle between raw mouse input.

For me, it happens only on pause screen, for other in-game screens (such as furnaces, chests) it does not happen... 1.19 on Monterey.

Edit: it does happen in other reported conditions as well, I just can't reproduce consistently enough to notice the pattern.

I have been getting this recently on every version of the game, multiple Corsair mice tested including the official Apple Magic Mouse. When the mouse is in motion in any menu, upon returning the view snaps as if it was moved by the mouse location, there is a 5-10% chance the mouse will not center when returning to the inventory after this happens.

I have this issue as well. I can consistently replicate the issue. I have tested my mouses on both PC and Mac and it only seems to happen on the Mac version regardless of mouse used. I have attached a video of the bug. I was using 1.19.4 on MacOS Ventura when I first noticed this. I am continuing to have the issue in 1.20 and 1.20.1.

It definitely still happens in 1.21.3. I can get it to happen in both a chest and an inventory screen. I am running the game full screen on MacOS 15.1. i open a container, move mouse and exit the container while the mouse is moving. The first person view will snap to a different position than the original position. I've included a link to a video to demonstrate. video example

Also able to reproduce it. It seems that if you completely stop the mouse movement before closing inventory it doesn't happen. You have to be moving the mouse at the same time you close inventory. Video Here

Confirming still happens and is easily reproducible in 1.21.0. Doesn't always happen.

Confirming happens in 1.21.10.

It actually snaps in the OPPOSITE direction of the mouse, as if it is snapping the mouse to the center and thus moving the camera.
