Pillagers are not attracted to villagers.

Pillagers will just pile up surrounding the center of what was once their outpost. They won't try attacking villagers that are in the center. I have made a clip which showcases this issue, and with a raid active. I have slabbed out all of the big caves under this region. Checked with the server owner himself if any of the server's plugins could be causing this. He tried many tweaks and with no prevail. Our latest attempt was to give the villagers professions. This, too, failed to make a difference.

Pillagers are "stockpiling" around the raid farm, which is centered on the center-most block of where their outpost once stood.

Expected Result:

Pillagers ready up and try firing on the villagers to kill them.

For the record, you'll see a Phantom knock me out of flight. In my opinion, these mobs are nothing more than a nuisance and this being 1 of the reasons why...

You're in a modded instance of the game. The bug tracker only takes reports for the vanilla game.

However, this issue is Invalid.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.

  • Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.

  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.

  • If you have problems on large servers like Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.

Not sure If I should open a new ticket or use this?
I was able to replicate this in Vanilla 1.20.1.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create world (creative)
2. Locate Pillager Outpost
3. Spawn proof the surface (164 block perimeter)
4. Make Spawning square 12 block wide hole and 10 block wide spawn area.
5. Add trapdoor path finding trap and a Iron Golem in the center of square.
7. Add villager underground and get bad omen effect.

Allow pillagers to spawn for a few seconds.

After a few seconds, pillagers will spawn but seem like they have no AI. (Illiger Newts XD)
They will not attack players, iron golems or villagers.

Logic resets when Raid ends or game is reloaded.
