The Bug
As of 1.20, text in the chat renders on top of the TAB instead of behind it which was the functionality in 1.19.4. This issues adversely affects large servers and servers that utilize the tab to display information to players as the text and player entries in the TAB get blocked by chat messages.
Observed Behaviour
Chat messages render in front of the TAB.
Expected Behaviour
Chat messages would render behind the TAB not blocking any information.
Steps to Reproduce:
Join a server with a TAB that has a lot of player entries like Hypixel
Be on a higher GUI scale and open the tab while there's a lot of visible chat messages
Observe as to how these chat messages render in front of the tab, blocking text and player entries from showing

There should still be a better defined rendering order, as the ping indicators appear over chat while the names and player heads do not. Also compare the tab list overlapping with the sidebar, everything is visible there (but behind the shadow-box of the tab list) and not completely hidden.
This is very much a bug. (Also, decrease, not increase.)
Relates to MC-198963.
If the interface size is small in the 24w05b snapshot, the error is repeated.
With a large interface size, there is no error, because the tab is smaller than the chat.
Just increase the GUI Scale
