Fire aspect igniting by left clicks rather than right clicks like Bedrock Edition

If you want to ignite something by fire aspect enchantment such as candles, on Java Edition, you required to ignite them by left-clicking. On Bedrock Edition, you required to ignite them by right-clicking.

This is inconsistent with flint and steel and fire change, both are required to ignite them by right-clicking.

This seems to be a feature request.

This is a parity issue, in Bedrock the player must use right clicks to lit them.

@unknown Yeah true, but bedrock and java are completely different Minecraft versions. And since you use left clicks on java rather than right clicks on bedrock may lead this to be working as intended/feature request. I still can confirm though.

@unknown It is not a request feature, it a request for Vanilla parity which is supposed to be posted here, NOT the Minecraft Feedback website.

This is a valid parity issue.
We are only tracking parity issues that meet the following criteria on this bug tracker:

  • The feature affected by the parity issue is present in both Bedrock Edition and Java Edition in the latest release or development version

  • The feature behaves differently in one edition than in the other

  • The parity issue was introduced in Buzzy Bees (Bedrock Edition 1.14 / Java Edition 1.15) or later and was not present before

Any parity issue that does not meet these criteria will not be tracked on the bug tracker and should instead be reported on the Minecraft Feedback Discord server.

Can't reproduce this in the latest version/snapshot as this feature was removed in 1.21-pre1 and hasn't returned since.
