It could be that they did that to add to the tricky part of it, so that it's harder to escape the mobs so easily ?

Per MCPE-184960 (which resolved as Works As Intended), encounter_4 room without ladders is intentional in Bedrock Edition. Maybe also intentional in Java Edition.

Removed encounter_4 as that is intentional and outside the scope of this report.
