MC-275657

Riding a high speed minecart and using /tick sprint causes excessive lag/resource consumption and freezes/crashes the game

Being inside a minecart produces significantly more lag than not being inside it.

Reproduction Steps

  • Build a looped track

  • Set minecartMaxSpeed to 200

  • Place a pig inside a minecart (pig is there to bypass MC-275365)

  • Do /tick sprint 1000s

  • After sprinting is done kill the pig and get inside the minecart yourself

  • Do /tick sprint 1000s again

Observed Results

  • Doing tick sprint while not riding the minecart yourself works fine

  • Doing tick sprint after getting into minecraft will cause the game to freeze/crash with error code -1073740940 (sometimes -805306369)

Expected Results

  • The game would be fine

I was unable to reproduce this, the game didn't seem to crash:

I am unable to reproduce this, can you confirm that you are able to reproduce this issue on the latest version?

This seems to only affect one of my worlds.
Something to note is the console is flooded with "recieved passengers for unknown entity"

attaching the world (it's over 600mb uncompressed despite being a superflat world no idea how that happened)

Thank you for the information and for confirming this @unknown!
