Sculk sensors activate after falling from a height of 2 blocks while sneaking and unsneaking afterwards

This is highly similar to the report MC-261418, however I have found another issue pertaining to this.
When falling from a height of two blocks while shifting, which is not high enough to trigger a Sculk Sensor, and then un-shifting, the Sculk Sensor activates.

You can recreate this by:

1. Placing a Sculk Sensor and building up two blocks

2. Jump off the two block tower while shifting

3. Un-shifting after you land*

Can confirm. Additionally, this seems to be the case for jumping from any height at or above one block so long as the user is shifting for 1-2 seconds before hitting the ground and isn't interrupted by fall damage, water/lava, or cobwebs (potentially other things, though I haven't tested much).

Can confirm, and can elaborate. This seems to happen if the player goes down at least 2 meters consecutively at all, including sneaking down stairs, or jumping from 1 block downward while sneaking (which causes you to fall 2 blocks, as you jump upwards slightly more than 1 block). It still is caused even if the fall happened out of range of the skulk sensor, and then the player moved in range while sneaking. It is not caused by jumping in place, or moving around long distances horizontally without falling.

Sculk Sensor triggers when uncrouching after having fallen with horizontal velocity.

24w36a - 1.21.5

How to reproduce:

  1. Sneak

  2. Fall down in any way, with horizontal velocity:
    - jump down a block
    - jump up a block
    - jump in place

  3. Stop

  4. Unsneak

Observed behavior:

  1. Player emits a footstep sound (this has been the case before the bug’s existence)

  2. Sculk Sensor gets triggered by the sound

Expected behavior:

  1. Ideally the player doesn’t emit a sound after uncrouching

  2. Non-ideally the player emits a sound, but the Sculk Sensor doesn’t get triggered by it (how it worked before the bug’s emergence)
