Mobs now remain unable to be fed indefinitely after being bred

This behavior was introduced in 26.1-snapshot-7.

When I try to breed animals that I have previously bred, they will not breed. It has been over thirty minutes, multiple in-game days, not at a mob cap, and I am still able to feed baby mobs. I have also reloaded the game.

Can confirm as of 26.1-snapshot-7.

Expected Result:
When bred, animals are supposed to have their age set to 6,000 and then that number counts down to age 0. At age 0 the animal can be bred/fed again.

Actual Result:
In this snapshot the age does not count down and stays at 6,000 indefinitely.

This video shows a baby animal aging(to compare the time) at tick rate 10,000 and it shows two just bred animals not “aging”(de-aging) after being bred whilst at tick rate 10,000.

Thank you for confirming this issue.

I can confirm this issue as not working for the villagers, although my animals (so far) are able to breed.

i can confirm with chicken pig sheep cow

I can confirm this is an issue with EVERY mob from villagers to goats. It has broken all of my farms. PLEASE FIX @mojang !!!
