The bug:

Since 26.1 Snapshot 7, water does not appear behind the spectator mode’s 3rd person head view.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Ensure Improved Transparency is off (default setting)

  2. Create a world with water present

  3. Go into third person view (f5 by default)

  4. Go into spectator mode

  5. Observe water does not appear behind your head in third person when in spectator mode

Expected result:

Water will be visible behind your head in spectator mode

Actual result:

Water is not visible behind your head in spectator mode
