Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.7.4 / Launcher version 1.3.7 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Fixed in 1.7.4.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.7.9 / Launcher version 1.3.11 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Not, fixed ( in 1.7.5 ).

Cannot reproduce anymore in 1.7.9.

I can confirm that this is no longer an issue in 1.8.1 pre3.

I can still reproduce this in 1.8.1 Pre 4.

I can still reproduce this 1.8 latest version.
It is really annoying as it also occurs on the sides as well. It's an eyesoar to say the least. It occurs on all graphics settings.
I'm also running minecraft on a Mac.

This bug only appears with MipMap Levels at 1-4 when breaking a block at specific angles and a far enough distance away, It doesn't appear with MipMap Levels at OFF. I tested this on release 1.8.1 and snapshot 1.8.2-pre1, both versions contain this bug. You can test this yourself with any FOV but higher FOVs will make it more apparent.

Confirmed in 1.8.6. Seems to only happen on the top, north, or south faces of the block, and only if you are facing east and at a near-horizontal angle.

Confirmed for 15w31b.

Same for 15w32c
Confirmed for 15w40b

Reopen, it's not fixed in 19w39a. It's much worse now. Panning while breaking makes it even more obvious.

Seems like a different issue, probably caused by the attempted fix of it.
