Command block and tp command bug

It's a teleporting bug. So when I made some tests with the command block for my map, I noticed the bug.
So i made a hallway, 2x1, and 8 blocks long. On the eight block I put an pressure plate connected to a command block. The command block teleports me back to the second block. And when you walk trough the hallway it teleports you back to the beginning. But! when i was running trough it, it teleported me twice, and then let me trough. The third time it didn't work. I tested it again and again and on the 3 or 4 try it lets me trough without teleporting me. So could you take a look at it because this hallway should be unable to go trough because of the /tp.

Log out then log back in, does the issue persist?

Yes. In 1.7.4 and also in 14w02c .

It is quite possible that your pressure plate just has not enough time to retract, try making a command block teleport you further, for example 10 blocks instead of 7.

Yes but first 2,3 times it works and then doesn't. Build it yourself and try it out.

The problem is that when I build it, it works for about 5 blocks (on the 2nd - 3rd try) and increasing the distance results in a failure.
Can you give me a sceenshot.

I uploaded already some screen shots. Just build it in creative and try it. it's a hallway, 2 blocks high and 1 block wide, and 8 blocks long. on the seventh block you put a pressure plate like on the screenshot and connect it with a command block that teleports you back to the second block. so you keep running but it teleports you back.

Have you tried it with a longer tunnel like 20 blocks or so?!? Because pressure plates don't get "unpressed" instantly, I suspect that the pressure plate has not enough time to retract before you run over it again.

I have tested it again and again and I can't find any problems with that, if you are to close, the pressure plate is pressed down, which is not a bug, and otherwise everything works as expected.
