A top half slab can be pushed/retracted by a Sticky Pistion, even there's a space between the slab and the pistion.
What I expected to happen was...:
The top slab would become a bottom slab
What actually happened was...:
It still triggered and pushed the half slab up and it remained a top slab
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new world
2. Get a sticky piston, a half slab and a Redstone Block
3. Build it so that the slab is a top half slab and activate the piston

of course it works, it still occupies the space for a block, but only the top side for entitys, intended behaviour
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
Keep in mind that the "Resolved"-Status on this ticket just means "Answered", and that we are waiting for further information on whether this issue still exists or not. We will reopen it as soon as the requested information has been delivered.
Ticket resolved as incomplete, because no answer in a reasonable amount of time (1+ year), if it still happens, please update the ticket.
Where is the hitbox? If it's directly on the piston then this is a graphical bug only.
Another very recent bug affected iron trapdoors that were rendered on the wrong side of blocks.
