The floating book on the enchantment table is invisible, you can see the particles floating around it, but not book itself

I can confirm this. It works the same as the disappeared chests in that you can place one and it looks normal but when you relog the book is gone. Cannot make the book appear by updating a block next to it like with the chests in MC-65874, but might relate to that bug as well.

I'm getting this as well, pretty sure it's related to the invisible chest issue.

Yeah, no book for me either. The invisible chests will sometimes appear, but I have not seen the book since I loaded 14w32b.
