[MC-883] Map progress lost when changing map scale

When you change the scale of a map and zoom out (with paper around the map item) all map progress is lost and you start with a new blank map. Is this working as intended or a bug? Would be nice if you could keep all explored areas. 🙂

The same problem on Mac OS X 10.7.5. Java 1.6.0_37. Minecraft 1.4.2.

Description: if you have a map (with progress) and makes zoom out (put paper around the map), the map lost the progress.

It doesn't make sense. If we map some area, we would be able to pass this information between our maps and other players maps by holding both maps on hands.
