No, you just used the wring format. That image is how your skin will look in game. You need to download the texture itself which has all the parts if the skin, not just the front, arranged so the game can use them. Did you use a skin creator programming? If so try to export the skin or something.

Please also attach the actual skin.

It is attached to your Mojang account not to your game. Your skin file should be on that account if you log in.
