Sheep are not generation in worlds 1.9 and later. My singleplayer created in 1.9 dosent have sheep, but the same seed world made in 1.8.9 has sheep, but new chunks stop spawning sheep in them.
Reproduction is self explainde.

I just made a world in 1.9 and went to the coordinates and I found a few white sheep and a pink one.. <-- is that lucky or what..? But anyway my render distance is at 8. Maybe it is that because there is a postponed bug report https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-2536 (don't know how to make a shorter link thing) with this render distance issue. But ever since i lit up the caves underground i have been getting a decent number of hostile mobs but still isn't as many at 8 versus render of over 15 which is a bummer. But nonetheless, it didn't occur to me that it was effecting the passive mobs as well. Since when I travel I always find a lot of sheep pig chicken and even horses. squids too.
@Redstonehelper I have a picture and a crash report if you want it, let me know if it could help, I'll add it up there. I just ran around twice far away enough so that I was out of render distance range and came back there were sheep. I really think it is the render problem. Or at least something that makes it seem that way..
@@unknown, just write MC-2536, it will become a link automatically
Oh yeah i forgot my view distance was at 2 chunks the entire time, the game lags so much with view distance at 6 chunks and higher.
Please provide the seed and coordinates.
