[MCPE-10445] Weakness effect lasts after affect is gone

I splashed myself with weakness, left the world, entered agian, and after the weakness was gone, I still could not attack mobs without a weapon.

I commented on the duplicate report, that using a strength potion can undo the effect of weakness that lasts. A temporary fix for the bug, but might get you out of a fix! 🙂

Confirmed for 12.3 Windows 10, I used a splash potion of weakness on zombie villagers and got hit with it myself, now I can't hit anything at all, unless its a tool.

This bug has a effect on minecarts (all of them) and paintings too.
Now I need tools to break it...

The situation is slightly worse on the 0.14.0 update (Win 10) as using a strength potion doesn't undo the weakness effect as it did before.

Confirmed for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. Android 5.0.1. 0.14.0 - This can be quite frustrating when having to use a potion of strength to mask the effect temporarily when going into combat.

@unknown Actually drinking milk doesn't fix the problem, I've tried. The effect is permanent!
WARNING to others: Giving yourself weakness will ruin your map and you won't be able to punch anything again until this bug is fixed!

I was able to remove the weakness effect in 0.15.0 realms build 2! Try splashing yourself with weakness and wait for it to wear off. If you haven't done this yet, then you're still permanently bugged with the weakness effect that prevents you from punching anything. For that reason I cannot close this report and fully say this has been fixed.

Another way to fix it is to drink a potion of Strength, wait for that to wear off and then that fixes it

Confirmed as fixed for me on 0.14.2 Windows 10 Edition

I just used a weakness potion on myself and after it wore off, I could hit with fists again.

(Also, drinking milk will once again remove the potion effects properly.)
