This bug report is a parity issue with Java.
Summary:
In the Java version, the warped roots have a hitbox that is always centered. And also in the Java version the hitbox a bit more.
Java: 13 pixels high and 12 pixels on the sides (2 pixels off the edge).
Bedrock: ~8,5 pixels high and ~6 pixels on the sides.
Steps to reproduce:
Place warped roots.
Take a look at the dimensions of the hitbox.
Observed results:
The hitbox is not always in the center, and also has dimensions that do not correspond to the Java version.
Expected results:
The hitbox of the blocks must be the same.
Notes:
In the bedrock version, for some reason, the selection at the base is also not visible.

I can confirm that the hitboxes are different.

The same happens for hanging roots but i think this is a bug on java edition. Doesn't make any sense for the hitbox to be centered.

MCPE-122361 for roots

That should be intentional. Plants like these are supposed to be randomly offset by about 0.3 blocks.

In any case, all blocks must have the same hitbox in both versions. If it is not corrected in bedrock, then it will be corrected in Java.
