Underwater color fog doesn't change/stays the same blue color when you switch biomes

The new underwater fog matches the Java Edition color, but it doesn't account for the different biome colors. Most predominant biomes on Bedrock have unique water colors, and the new fog is a direct downgrade.

This can be observed easily on these biomes:

  1. Desert

  2. Warm ocean

  3. Taiga

  4. Swamp

  5. The End

  6. The Nether

  7. Mushroom Island

  8. Badlands

  9. Even the default water to an extent.

Updated the description to contain more examples.

It also seems that the distance of this fog can't be changed through resource packs either.

I honestly like the new dark blue fog

Mojang has tried to add the Java Edition fog color to Bedrock Edition but fails, so they reset it back to the old water fog multiple times

It looks like Mojang attempted to fix this in both 1.17.10.21 and 1.17.10.52 beta, but reopened it...

I wished I knew this was a bug earlier. I built my sorting system underwater in a Mushroom Island and now I have to drain a huge space because since the recent update I can't see anything 😞
