Even my friends has some isssues about it too, we can't import .mcaddon and .mcpack files in Minecraft. It's very boring now... 😞

I have the same issue. I can add packs via a third party app, but cannot open/run .mcpack - I get "there are no apps to run this file". The third party app saves its files differently, so I've been unable to use that route. This is definitely about the game & not the packs.

However, this issue is Working as Intended.
The report you have submitted is working as intended: Unfortunately, this change is something that is being stipulated by the platform itself and is not an arbitrary change that Minecraft has decided to put in place. In order to comply with the platform's requirements and continue to publish Minecraft updates these changes had to be made. We are aware of the difficulties this has caused some players in managing their games and save files. What you can do is to use a file explorer that supports the file extensions and import the files that way, like a CX File Explorer.
