MCPE-149558

If you place a button or pressure plate near to the 0 0 0 position, an invisible unbreakable block will appear at the 0 0 0 position

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create an infinite (not flat) world.

  2. Place a blackstone button on top of a block within +/-2 X, Y, Z of 0, 0, 0.

  3. Try to move through 0, 0, 0.

Expected result

You move through 0, 0, 0.

Observed result

You cannot move through one or more sides 0, 0, 0.

If you place a button next to the 0 0 0 position, a transparent unbreakable block will appear at the 0 0 0 position.

I'm Japanese. I'm sorry if I made a mistake.

GoldenHelmet

I reproduced the bug on multiple random seeds. It does not happen in flat worlds.

Hi

Does this issue still occur after updating to 1.18.2?

This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.

GoldenHelmet

Yes, still occurs in 1.18.2 Hotfix.

I also found that if you stand at 0, 0 ,0 or 0, -1, 0 you cannot place blocks anywhere, except directly underneath yourself when you jump.

I added a test world. When you load in the player is standing on the solid air block at 0 0 0.

GoldenHelmet

I have updated the summary to include pressure plates based on testing MCPE-153184.

This seems to be fixed in 1.19.21 and up. Can anyone confirm the fix?

GoldenHelmet

Yes, it appears to be fixed for me.
