[MCPE-173092] Android: After a few minutes of moving around starts to glitch / lag and then crashes.

When I go into my world I start to run and it glitches and acts slow then a minute later it will kick me off the game to my phone home screen.

What I expected to happen was...

It shouldn't have happened

What actually happened was...: I got kicked off the game

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login
2. create a world in survival mode
3. run for a minute or tw

4. Get kicked off the game

I'm not sure if my game crashes are happening because of running but I cannot play for longer than 5 minutes without it crashing and sending me back to home ever since 1.20.10. So annoying

Now when I login I'm sleeping in the bed but then leave the bed log out and log back in I'm in the bed again. Then I clicked the bed and it spammed saying "spawn point set".

Yes my game will kick me off no matter what I do. I thought at first maybe it was if I type in a command, maybe if I'm running, maybe if I have too many entities in the world. But no, it happens just no matter what. And it's not my phone, I just bought a new one today to play and it still happens on the new phone. I hope they fix this soon it's unplayable.

Could you please include information about your device model and operating system version? Without it we may be unable to reproduce the issue.

You may need to reinstall the game from the Google Play store as well, but please make sure you've backed up any worlds and content that you wish to keep first.

I am on Android 13 i play 1.20.12 and i have the same problem. Uh, it only seems to glitch out online and not in singleplayer worlds. 1.20.13 is only for iOS and u cant play it on android.

Same problem here. Game crash with new update. I'm playing 1.20.10 single player survival on an android tablet (One UI 5.1). Game will run for a few minutes, longer if there is not much going on in the game. It will lag, freeze then crash. This happens frequently while swimming, mining, or fighting multiple mobs such as Skelton or blaze. However, it has also happened while walking.

Edit:

The crash would occur most frequently while in the Nether. It seems like the game crashes more often when there are multiple entities.

Sometimes if I am able to stop my player the moment I noticed the lag the game did not crash. It appears to crash when the player is moving.

I changed my game settings, reduced render distance from 10 chunks to the recommended 8 chunks (I thought the recommended was 10 chunks before the update but I may be mistaken) and turned off "fancy graphics". The game has not crashed since changing these settings. I have since updated to 1.20.12 but have not tried changing the settings back and have played for two weeks with no crash. The game will still lag occasionally, like it would just before it crashed. However, these settings with fancy graphics on and render distance 10 were working fine prior to the . 1.20.10 update.

Mega_Spud Jay Wells how can you back up your worlds on Android? I have tried from several devices. I tried plugging my phone into my PC to find files. I use ASTRO file manager there are no folders for Games: Minecraft: Minecraft Worlds like their use to be. Can the devs change it back? I uninstalled Minecraft & reinstalled it hoping it would work better. It does for 5 minutes then lags like crazy & crashes! I lost all my worlds. I'm so upset. Before you could copy the world to any folder. Now you cannot find your Minecraft worlds on Anroid. I tried everything. Mojang sent me a couple ways to try on none of them work. Anyway this bug is terrible! I've tried reporting it 3 times and got told my bug was invalid? And how to reproduce it? Go on Anroid open Minecraft you will see within minutes how terrible it is. Im on Samasumg A13 5G Android 13 OS 5.1 I've never had this problem. I've been here since beta was on Google in a group. @Helper or @ Mod Jay Spuds I did search for this bug before I reported it. There wasn't any about Anroid. This was posted under Java? My reports closed for duplicate which there was none. And for some other reason? When there are two bugs lag and crashing aren't you suppose to report them separately? That's what I was told by a Mod awhile ago. I quit reporting bugs they're always found as a duplicate or closed for another reason. I always check for bugs before reporting. Maybe the search bugs needs a update?

To this day it's unplayable when you want to play online on Android. It may not affect PC, but phone will always lag after some time and crash. Turning off fancy graphisms and beautiful skies as well as disabling mods and packs should fix that, but it will occasionally still freeze and only delay the time given until it crashes again. The controls may also stay on movement even when not trying to move for longer than supposed to upon release, resulting in unfair deaths. The nether becomes unplayable and exploring also creates such issue.

I thought this was fixed in the latest update for Anroid? I guess not? It's gotten worse. In 20 mins it has crashed at least 7 times. So annoying. The screen shakes, starts to freeze, then crashes. Terrible! I've never seen a bug this bad in the 10 years I've been playing this! Bring back our bedrock Devs & Jeb!

If you put your game to peaceful it lags less. Mobs make it lag more. It still crashes on peaceful but not as bad. It's not fun playing on peaceful IMO. But it helps if people really want to play. Please figure it out Mojang.

Hi, I'm having the same problem, I have xiaomi and my problem (MCPE-175652) has been solved as a duplicate, knows by chance maybe when an update comes out so that lag crashes and screen freezes do not repeat, it freezes continuously.
