The large dripleaf plant has the redstone function to stop wilting, when its root block is powered. This only works however, if the dripleaf is only one block high. If it's any higher, the dripleaf wilts as usual. This makes the function pretty much useless.
Expected behavior:
Dripleaf plants higher than one block stop wilting, when the root block is powered.
Observed behavior:
Dripleaf plants higher than one block wilt anyway
Tested on both Bedrock and Java Edition

I know that powering stops it from wilting. But it only works, when the plant is one block high. If you place another one on top of it or bone meal it to get a two-block high plant, powering doesn't stop it from wilting anymore. Any drip leaf plant, that is higher than one block, ingores the root block being powered and still wilts. I guess I have to make a video to make it more clear.
