When a MCPE mob killed by TNT or nockback sword, their "dead body" will not get pushed away.
In PC Minecraft and early days of MCPE(0.8 and earlier), Mob's body will get nocked back a little when get killed, But now, dead entity in MCPE do not get effected by nockback when get killed.
There is only one mob that has nockback effect in MCPE, that is: Horse(If you don't get what is this bug, try to go ahead kill a horse and also kill a sheep, then you will see what's the different between their "dead body".
(Sorry for bad English, but hope you understand)
As the picture shows: only horse's body gets nockback when killed, other mob does not.

Work as intend.In fact,if you hit mobs using sword with knockback 2,the mobs go far than usual.But if you hit the mobs and got kill in one hit,nothing happens like normal sword.You say horse only get knockback due all horse in game has different health,speed and jump scale.
Yeah this is bug..if you won't to believed go ahead play mcpe version 0.10.0 and it will proof at you.
Mobs killed through direct attacks and arrow hits experience knockback, but not TNT.
Partially confirmed for 1.7.
Entities that don't walk/ are killed by status effects or explosions aren't knocked back when killed: Created MCPE-67292 and MCPE-67293.
Players aren't knock back at all: Relates to MCPE-46301.
Yeah I noticed that as well, that's been around for a long time now (0.12 and before perhaps?).
The mobs also have two sounds overlapping each other upon death, and that's also been around for a while too.
