Vibrant Visuals: The adjust brightness slider doesn't work properly

When I move the brightness bar to where I can see only two creeper faces. It doesn't go down enough and it looks like the first picture. The other picture is from me tweaking it to make it look as good as possible.

I'm on windows 11 as well. My computer monitor and my ps5 on a tv set to appropriate visual settings have the same brightness slider problems.
Every other game does not have these problems btw so I believe it’s just vibrant visual

The changelog entry reporting that this issue was fixed seems to have confused it with a different issue. This has nothing to do with the block light around the player inside of a world. Rather, the creeper faces are simply way too bright, and not useful for setting the brightness.

Possibly related, the brightness in the world tends to be either too dark, or washed out, like the saturation or contrast is unbalanced. MCPE-199294 suggests that this is only on some devices. I happen to be on Windows 10 with GTX 1050ti graphics card.
