I discovered this bug when I was flying around my world and I noticed I heard walking sounds even though Im flying.Its really annoying to hear walking sounds when there is even no one walking..

Confirmed for 1.1.0.9.
When the player is a few blocks off the ground, walking sounds can be heard. This can be reproduced when flying in creative mode, or gliding with elytra in survival.
(Possibly player collision/hitbox related?)
That happens to me as well, if you're flying at least 3 blocks high you can hear the sound.Motorola Moto g
There is a bug (MCPE-29918) where when you save and quit a world while you are flying in Creative, on reloading the world the game is confused and thinks you are in walking mode, so instead of normal flying you fly at walking speed. It stops as soon as you change your Y coordinate. Mega_Spud wants to know if this could be the same bug. If this happens to you at other times, it may be a different bug. (The other report didn't mention footstep sounds, but it didn't exclude them either, so that isn't necessarily a difference.)
I didn't notice anything about the flying speed, but the glitch was active upon loading the world. Should I post this there?

At this time it seems clear that you're describing the same bug as MCPE-29918, For practical reasons, we almost always use the first ticket of a set to track the resolution process, so a mod will close this report and cross-reference it with the earlier one. The devs can find this ticket from the other by following those links, but if you want to spotlight the footstep sounds (which only this ticket mentions), it would be fine to leave a comment on the other ticket. Be sure to vote for the other ticket, and maybe watch it too if you want.
