Steps to Reproduce:
Enter any world with Fancy or Simple graphics
Find any body of water
Switch to Vibrant Visuals
Without entering the water, look at the caustics effect
Observed Results:
The effect stops being visible from the surface.
Expected Results:
The caustics are visible, as long as the sun is hitting the bottom.

Similar issue: Vibrant Visual does not show caustics correctly over the entire surface of the water and the surface is too transparent.

[media]More clues: I used a custom texture pack with “raytraced capabilities” and "num_mip_levels: 1” and "padding: 6”.
